The Curse of Love is a 'lost' album by English indie rock band The Coral.The album features 12 previously unreleased tracks that were recorded on an 8-track recorder between their albums The Invisible Invasion (2005) and Roots & Echoes (2007). The curse is The Coral's apparent love of repetition. Consisting of ten tracks sandwiched between two versions of similar songs, The Coral’s latest release is a far cry from the neo-psychedelia of their self-titled debut – but it also shuns the pop hooks that kept the band firmly in the public consciousness for much of the 2000’s.
