If you park in the lower lot, you will need to walk up to the upper lot/towards the TH for the Colorado Trail 1776. It was already quite difficult and I think would have been more so going clockwise, especially ascending from ~8,000 feet to Bison's Peak (12,000+ feet) in one day. There are lots of camping/picnic spots. Look at track for the water points around the mountain section. NOTE: the trailhead was difficult to find. Very diverse trail in terms of scenery and terrain. Most notably around mile 14 (based on All Trails map), where you need to climb up boulders for a stretch to stay on the trail.
